6. My congressman ignores me
I live in Allen West's district. He refuses calls, ignores my emails, deletes my posts to his facebook, and I'm sure he does this to the rest of my district. Florida's 22nd is democratic leaning and though I voted, I suspect too many believed West would never win so did not show up at the mid-term elections.
Also have seen on conservative forums that they love using social media. They instruct people to make accounts on youtube, twitter, facebook, etc. to click thumbs down buttons and mark as spam any comment opposing Mr. West and others. Probably with multiple accounts. Then write their own comments of approval and click "like" or thumbs up.

Anyhow, the point is my congressman has locked himself in his own little world only listening to his side and ignoring the majority, including myself. All I can do is vote against him yet again next November unless there is another way to be heard. Would be nice to at least get a response, though I'm sure he'd dismiss me with his famous vulgar speak. There are no words I can think of to describe how I loathe my "representative."
