Electronic Voting Rights Project

The ACLU of Texas needs volunteers to strengthen efforts to protect
the most basic of democratic rights - your right to vote, and have
your vote counted!

Help us ensure that all electronic voting systems have a voter-
verifiable printed ballot to meet minimum standards for security,
auditability, and election recounts. We can accomplish this goal
only with your help.

On Saturday, Feb. 21, the ACLU of Texas will offer volunteer
training for its electronic voting project. Volunteers will also
learn about other opportunities and skills needed to help the ACLU
defend your rights.

1. We start letter campaign tonight in Austin, TX Wed 2/25/04

Volunteers needed tonight on E-voting project

We need more volunteers to help us get out some letters to precinct chairs on E-voting issue before the primary election. If you can make it we are meeting at the ACLU offices tonight 2/25 at 6:30 pm. We aren't hand writing these letters, don't worry. We just need to stuff the letters and send them off.
