Longshoremen call walk-out Friday - Bring soldiers home from Iraq
Edited on Mon Mar-15-04 11:40 PM by dArKeR
I just saw that on TV news. I think the Union leader said all of CA and OR, some of WA but it's spreading as he speaks. Didn't anyone else see this? I'm not sure if they're joining forces with the S.F. Anti-Lying movement or not? How come I don't see any web stories about this?

I'd like to see aWol, Limbaugh, Fineman, Russert... Whores call the Longshoremen unpatriotic! You want to tumble? We've got the Longshoremen on our side you scum sucking lying immoral Repuke feces.

I sent them an email, jmcnamara@ilaunion.org , cause I can't find any solid story on the web.

1. Wow
I hope they do it. The media just might have to report something like this. I'll keep my eyes out for any updates.

3. I was just thinking...
How come we never have general strikes in this country like they do elsewhere.

I'm down with staying home Friday, and I'm not in a union.

5. Amazing isn't it. I think every country in the has had at least one
country general strike. (Except Japan? Which, as you can see my continual post, I think is really completely controlled by the US. I we put spys/moles through-out the country in every department and corporation after the war. Why does Japan do everything and anything the US wants?)

7. well there goes outsourcing...
if you can't get your goods through the port of LA, you can't send it all overseas.

hmmm.... I wonder if they'll refuse to handle military cargo. Then you could see the military try to run the port. what a mess...
