nothing new to report now. As far as I can tell, she is still missing. Although someone who knows her reported that they saw her about 2 weeks ago and will try to track her down, but they may have been mistaken, but right now thinking positive is all we have to go on for sure,

but do you realize that 120,000 people go missing every year (with way less than 50% under the age of 16) and only 2% ever go missing more than 30 days. The police use this stat and the constitutional right to privacy as their reluctant reasons NOT to vigorously investigate adult missing person cases and mix in budgetary problems and that the recent Wisconsin student who disappeared is now a known hoax and the media plays along by only "pushing" sensational over informative.


And, worse of all is the frustratingly horrifyingly uphill battle the parents or a loved one has to go through when it's a legitimate missing,

15. Thanks for this. I watched a Discovery Channel documentary

on such a disappearance, tonight, and was totally blown away at the outcome. I just hope and pray that this child is rescued and returned to her family.:-(
