In just a few days, Congress is scheduled to vote on a bill that would force the Western Shoshone Nation of Nevada to sell twenty-four million acres of their land to the US government. If this bill passes, much of this land could be turned over to mining, energy and nuclear interests. Sacred Shoshone sites could become gold mines and nuclear test sites — despite the vehement objections of the Western Shoshone!

But you can help stop this. Email your Representative today! Urge him or her to vote NO on the Western Shoshone Distribution Bill (HR 884/S 618).

messed up Shoshones behind the scenes to allow this. Tribes are sometimes sold out by there own.
