Rove's "lost" Election 04 Memo, he said Bush would win CT
I'm sure he saw that Dems wouldn't pick Lieberman and Connecticutians might go for the native born Bush out of spite.

Just a thoughy.

1. Thank you for acknowledging that Bush ISN'T a Texan
I'm so tired of people putting down the Northeastern candidates because "We can't elect anyone from the Northeast." Despite his pig farm and cowboy boots, Bush is not a Texan, and the Texans I know are offended when anyone says he is. He went to Yale, for gosh sakes!

But I don't think the good folks in CT are likely to fawn all over the Shrub. In May, 2001, he was given an honorary degree by his alma mater-but another honoree, Mr. Sam Waterston (he's Jack McCoy on "Law and Order", a TV show), received a much larger ovation. This was straight from the New Haven paper.
