I am serious of course. The Dean blog usually ignores trolls, but if they continue people donate small amounts and tell them so.

3. Actually, most of the trolls on all of our blogs are Republican oppos.

They're working very hard at convincing all of the candidates' supporters that the others are attacking their blog. The Dean blog has had trolls masquerading as supporters of every other candidate. Some are real Clarkies/Kerryites/Edwardians (no Geps!) but most aren't. In fact, there have been times when the blogs have worked together to alert each other to trolls who were going back and forth between blogs pretending to be supporters of another Dem. This is classic Rovian crap, folks. Dean bloggers very seldom even look at other candidates' blogs and we kick the crap out of any Deaniacs who actually do it. Trippi warned us at the start and we continually police each other to prevent that kind of stuff. I'm not saying it's never happened, because every campaign has some idiots, but it's very very unusual.

5. lol, that is nothing

This kind of crap has been posted on the Kerry blog by Deanie's for months. Every hour of every day. How rude to go to another candidate's blog and post shit like this in some sort of sick attempt to call for unity. At least the post on the Dean blog brought up relevant issues. Not just some lame attempt to squash all opposition.

10. Well don't feel alone.

Looks like possibly all the campaigns are being hit with trolls this week. The Kucinich volunteer board has had a few as well (I'm a mod there). I'll say this much, I really like the controls at our board because they make trolls easy to deal with. Delete the posts without comment, not dissenting ones but disruptive ones, and block the user. They can come back but our system doesn't give them any satisfaction from it.

I also would like to say there were a couple of Dean supporters who stopped in at the Kucinich board to express kind thoughts to us, and we really do appreciate them. Clark supporters as well, since the ABC fiasco. I know there are a couple of threads on our board that aren't kind to Dean which makes those thoughtful and considerate posts all the more admirable.
