This is the kinda guy Congressman Kucinich really is!!

Last night, house parties and fundraisers were held all over the country to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his decision to refuse to sell Muny Light while he was mayor of Cleveland which saved the citizens $200 million dollars and still counting.

The highlight of the evening was to be a conference call from Dennis to all the locations at one time. We waited and waited and waited. Finally the call came 45 minutes late. Why? The conference call number didn't work so he sat there and called every single location individually!!

He got the job done and recognized the hard work of his volunteers even tho it was an inconvenience to himself. Pretty representative of his career as the ultimate public servant.

I'm proud to say I support such a man.

As a matter of fact, I've had difficulty all year long with '03. Usually it takes a few weeks to get used to writing the new year. I never did. I jumped straight from '02 to '04, and am still constantly correcting myself back into 2003. Call it a Freudian slip. I want '04. I want to evict Bush! It keeps showing up everytime I write a date.
