Former Vermont Gov. Howie Dean annoys a lot of people. Many of them Democrats. But no one is more annoyed at him than the would-be leader of the party, Bill Clinton. . . .

. . . According to a Dean staffer in Iowa, Clinton has sent Dean a message through intermediaries to stop using him as a political scratching post on the campaign trail. Dean, though, as late as last Friday was still using Clinton as an example of what is wrong with the Democratic Party.

2. Nice to know who your friends are.

Samantha Power, Pulitzer prize-winning author of "A Problem from Hell: America and the Age of Genocide", makes it clear that Clark is a world-class leader against genocidal maniacs like Hitler. Show me another candidate that has credentials like that.

3. Now, can't you just imagine the firestorm of protest that would ensue

if a Clark supporter ever inferred that Hitler would support the candidacy of Howard Dean? I can hear it all now. But of course it's okay for Dean supporters to do it. The inference is disgusting and really low, and one that I would hardly expect to see here on DU. Not about any of the Democratic candidates.
