Lieberman's Words of Wisdom
LEBANON, N.H. -- Presidential contender Joe Lieberman joined President Bush on Thursday in opposing gay marriages while defending his own record of fighting discrimination.

He said he voted for the Defense of Marriage Act, but said he opposes a constitutional amendment to prohibit gay marriage.

Lieberman also chided campaign colleagues Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry and former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean for their recent bickering over which one is a "real Democrat."

"I wish John Kerry and Howard Dean would stop arguing about who's the real Democrat. We're all real Democrats," Lieberman said.

"The question is which one of us has the better ideas, better experience to meet the challenges that face America, and which one of us can get elected.

<>

"Dean and Kerry are competing for one part of the party and I represent another part of the party.... I think I represent the newer way, the same kind of policies Bill Clinton stood for in 1992," he said.

2. Oh my God
It's like an Onion article. I fully thought it was a parody.

God Lord, Lieberman has gone off the deep end.

6. look at bush's right arm in the picture
it looks like Bush has his arm up inside Lieberman's suit, as if Holy Joe were a ventriloquist's dummy.

at least, that's what it looks like to me.
