Dean has big lead among NH women

" The poll may hold good news for front-runner Howard Dean. Dean is strongest with women voters, beating Wesley Clark by a 31 percent to 14 percent margin compared to the 9-point gap among all voters.

Women said in the poll that they are looking for the candidate that best represents their views on important issues - mainly domestic issues.

When asked what issues are most important, women said health care, education and the economy, in that order. Men cited the economy, health care and the war in Iraq."

because among undecideds--2-1 are women and Dean seems to be doing twice as well with women as with men. Plus the article says that women will more likely base their votes on health care, education,ect rather than foreign policy and Dean has a demonstarated record here. If I were Dean, I would begin running ads in NH not on the war but on health care.

you will have a bit of a spurt. I certainly never thought that Clark would get only 7% of the female vote. Still a significant gender gap for Clark, greater than the gap between men and women for Dean.
