Should we consider Governor Larry Flynt to Rule California ?
Hustler Publisher Files in Calif. Recall

The Associated Press
Friday, August 1, 2003; 10:28 AM

LOS ANGELES –– Porn king Larry Flynt wants to rule California.

The Hustler magazine publisher has filed initial paperwork to run in the gubernatorial recall election and says he may spend a large amount of his own money if people take his candidacy seriously.

The registered Democrat, civil libertarian and free speech advocate said he'd solve California's budget woes by expanding slot machine gambling. His holdings include several casinos.

"California is the most progressive state in the union," said Flynt, 61. "I don't think anyone here will have a problem with a smut peddler as governor."

1. If I were a Californian I would vote for the Green candidate
before I would vote for Larry Flynt.

3. Larry Flint had more class than Republicans during the Clinton "scandal"
When that hypocrite Livingstone confessed his muliple affairs he got his own wife to contact Flint and ask him not to print the details. Flint, with more charity that any of these "Republican Christians", never published the knowledge he had. Meanwhile disgusting hypocrites like Hyde, Hutchinson and Gingrich were relentless.

4. That would certainly be interesting
If there is a second half to the ballot, I would like to see the Democrats unite behind someone they think could win. Larry would make things interesting but I don't think he would appeal to the majority of Californians. I could be wrong.
