DNC blog
There is currently a discussion on the DNC blog about party unity and the ability to make room for dissent and diversity. There seems to be this big rush to "unite behind the nominee" well before the primary season is over.

I know there is much discussion about how "Bush must go, and nothing else matters". I've seen enough of that around lately, and I'm not buying it. Forced unity will not work. If the DNC is not willing to be responsive to a diverse party, it is doomed. Please consider joining in the discussions over there--especially if you are still planning to vote for someone other than Kerry in an upcoming primary.

There can be strength in our diversity, but not by silencing dissent.

1. The DNC/DLC isn't trying to win and they are doing everything
they can do to destroy the party. I've tried to talk to these bush lite types it's a waste of time they don't give a damn about anyone who has an opinion they just want you to adopt theirs and fall in goose step with corporate whore bribe system. After 33 years as a democrat I've given up. I'll check out Dean on the 18th and if I don't like what I hear from him I'm done.

But I can't look into my kids' eyes without thinking:

"Bush must go and nothing else matters".

4. I keep getting propaganda e-mails from the DNC
They keep telling me how unitied we all are. But after the filthy campaign Kerry ran, I have never felt less united with my party. After almost 30 years of voting straight ticket, I am considering staying home. Do these people think I am too stupid to know what happened over the last 4 months? If I wanted to be treated like a gullible sheep, I'd be a republican.
