I love the Bashing threads!
It brings out some really great responses chocked full of good info!

Sure they start out crap but the people coming out to defend thier candidates often come up with excelent rebutals with a lot of meat in them.

1. Me too

I think the more bashing the better. They will toughen us up for the main event and won't let any half-ass candidates get away with the cowardice we have been putting up with for the last 3 years.

2. Agreed
Our nominee needs to be able to take this fight to bush. If we continue to let the debate be framed on Bushes terms we are sunk. Its time for the democratic party to grow some nuts. Bush is a walking ball of vulnerability and if our candidates dont start standing up and taking control of these issues we are doomed to four more years of shrib. Only by standing up to him can we win!

8. Hmmm, You do have a point
but if we could only keep the bashing respectful towards each other...

10. Yeah me too
These photos made me go dig up a post I had elsewhere and edit it to add that Dean did not look dorky (cause I said they all did to carying degress except for Clark) but he does look good here and I think probably in general. I haven't seen enough of him and was fixating on his chin from the side-view. Yeah, you can laugh at me and laugh at DK's dorkiness. I don't mind ;) .

11. I would prefer those people make the rebuttals to regular voters
in life than sit and twist in the wind here "debating" with someone who could care less.

And that is the EXACT purpose of flame bait bashing threads: to divert activists from talking TO the people. And that is my argument against it.

12. You do have a point
There are very few undecideds here, and also overall a small percentage of voters. Get out and work for your candidate in real life. I'm sure many of you are...

This week I will be writing letters to people in NH on behalf of the Gov...Also working on some flyering opportunities. The real work is indeed off this board.

13. I think there is constucive bashing
and also destructive. Nothing wrong with vigorous debate but alot of times it becomes personal and supporters of one campaign are called names by other campaigns.

14. Yea name calling
can get nasty but it does show there is a lot of passion out there for all of the candidates. If we can harness all that energy come election time bush will be a pushover!
