Kucinich would be a president with integrity and fresh ideas
"I personally think Dennis Kucinich can beat President Bush in the November 2004 elections because he has demonstrated strength of character and a courageous commitment to integrity."

<snip>

"Dennis Kucinich is a man of uncompromised values. He continues to display character, courage and integrity in the House of Representatives. He is able to step away from his own ego enough to listen to his constituents. He holds himself to a high standard, and he has proven he can be trusted."

<snip>

"As Dennis Kucinich has said: "It is time for America to resume its glorious journey. Time to reject shrinking jobs and wages, disappearing savings and rights. Time to reject the detour toward fear and greed. Time to look out upon the world for friends, not enemies. Time to counter the control of corporations over our politics, our economy, our resources and mass media. Time for those who have much to help those who have little by maintaining a progressive tax structure. Time to tell the world that we wish to be their partner in peace, not their leader in war."

5. Especially since he is the only one
not taking corporate money. Ours comes in smaller chunks, so we have to dig deep.

2. He's honest and he doesn't play games with the voters.
He gives politicians a good name. It's about time that the best man for the job won.

3. Finally!
Finally, some notice is taken in the press.

The combination of character, courage, and integrity is not only electable, it's unbeatable. All we have to do is put it out there for people to see. With 6 months to go, we are picking up some speed.

4. Copied for our PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL meeting Thursday.
Added 15 more people to our volunteer/data base since Friday. Enthusiasm for him is growing daily.
And I almost ran out of contribution envelopes. So many of our people don't have computers, so we are using monthly envelopes to make it easy to contribute!!

Hey, hey, hey:evilgrin: Kin we send this to all those who think Bush is so "moral?"

7. Thanks DR....
Ya know how it is...So much other stuff going that sometimes even a venerable institution like DU2 has to take a back seat. Unfortunate but true. So here I am, not quite bright-eyed and bushy-tailed but here. :) :donut:

8. I'd love to have heard the letter.
But that means I would have had to watch crossfire.

I'm allergic to tv.

9. Does anyone have a link to the article about the Ariz Greens?
It was in the Late Breaking News earlier. I cross-posted it and was later told that the link didn't work any more. It's the one about the Arizona Green Party endorsing Kucinich and asking their membership to reregister as Democrats to vote for Kucinich in the primary.

10. I would love for Kucinich to be President but. . ..
He has to be elected and he can't be. He is too liberal and far left for the American Public. I am actually to the left of Kucinich, but he can't win :(. So I am going for the most liberal candidate that can win, which is Clark first, and if he doesn't enter then Kerry for sure.

11. When Dennis' campaign heats up
and you see more and more people jump aboard, will you join us? :hi:

Kerry (along with Edwards)is vying for 2nd place with me; I prefer Dennis' position on the issues, and I don't trust Kerry on education. Not that I want to be a "single-issue" voter, but I'm a teacher and public ed is a sticking point. Still, Kerry has other strengths that I appreciate. I can't help but support Dennis in the primary, though; he holds out hope that someday I might not be such an alien in my own country; that my country could value some of the same things I do.

12. The Screamer
Kucinich has very strong policy points
but he needs to STOP screaming,
it's a turnoff. IMO

While it's a good speaking style in a barn
it's not needed when you have a microphone,
and it makes one look "nuts" on TV.

--not flamebait, just honest--
