I believe this takes me from smart-ass newcomer to mere smart-ass. I probably have pissed off more than one person here, but I've always tried to maintain a decent, respectful tone even when I am joking. I must admit, though, there have been the occasional fools that I could not suffer lightly, and I apologize if I said something too close to any bones.

People here know that I'm a Kerry fan, but I try to give the other candidates a fair shake. I have had some legendary debates with fellow fair-shakers, and naturally some exchanges that quickly proved less than legendary. I know I can be pig-headed and pugnacious at times, and decide not to give an inch when I should have known better. But when all's said and done, I have had a great time taking up the the future of our beloved party with y'all. As we free our minds, our asses will surely follow.

And let me be the first to say that you are one of the reasons I keep coming back here. If I want to read only pro-Dean messages, I can go to the Dean blog, but if I want to read something from another point of view that isn't just blather or bias, I look for your posts. I've also learned a lot more respect for Kerry from you (plus that he's cool).
