I remember that from the months I had in the Boy Scouts.

Daddy apparently doesn't see the hypocrisy ... his "Eagle Scout" son, 18 years old, stole 140 Obama signs ... and the freepturds on the message boards are defending it ...

If an Eagle Scout is found guilty of doing a crime they can (and in his opinion should) have their status removed.

We both think if this 18 yo ADULT is found guilty of stealing all those signs then he should be held accountable by the legal system. If he did do it, it was STEALING and a CRIME not simply a "youthful prank". If it were McCain signs stolen from private property by an 18 yo I'd be willing to bet the Freepers would be squawking about pressing charges, etc.

Of course, now it's his kid committing the crimes (um, 140 signs recovered, at a minimum of $5 each, that would be at least 700 dollars), "Hey, it's a youthful prank! Don't screw up his life over this!" - mind you, 18 is an adult ...
