First Kucinich meetup in Orange County
Edited on Fri Aug-08-03 11:04 AM by The Sushi Bandit
We had a great first Kucinich meetup in Irvine California last night. We had 27 show up and discussed many important issues on how we can get Dennis elected. I cant wait for our next one!

1. wow, what a bunch of far left wing
radical crazy types....looks like my mom/dad, a sister/brother, an old teacher of mine, the guy at the local market, a preacher, my best friend, the kid across the street, etc.

don't they know he's 'unelectable'!?!?

/sarcasm

good showing, hope your next meetup grows exponentially.

2. There were two meetings in Orange County last night
I also understand that a third group went to the wrong meetup location and that the 29 included mostly new people who were not part of Kucinich's ongoing group.

This is impressive for a first meetup.

This is sooo great!!

We had one in Flag but there were maybe 10 people there...however...we have been having meetings there since June & things are getting organized...there are lots of peace activists working for DK...and my town had a meeting and I've scheduled another for next week to get more organized here, too.

Oh Sushi Bandit...this is awesome!!!!

(Maybe we should start a thread with DK links sometime...if I get a chance to catch my breath I'll do it...but hey,no need to wait for me if someone else gets inspired!)

My friend in St Augustine FL saw her first DK bunpersticker...in addition to the one I sent her

Peace

5. Great looking group!
I see Natasha there. We had about 24 people or so in the San Fernando Valley; some showed up after I stopped to count, so I'm not sure what the final total was. A very enthusiastic, determined, friendly group. And so it begins!
