Wesley K. Clark as he considers a run for the White House.
The meetings, which are being organized by Arkansans for Clark, will give supporters of Clark the opportunity to get involved in a national grassroots campaign to encourage him to run for president.
Supporters of Clark and others who are interested in his possible candidacy are invited. Daniel Colclasure and Nealon DeVore, co-chairs of the Faulkner County Committee for Clark, will be the hosts.
According to Draft Clark 2004, a national political action committee that is a partner of Arkansans for Clark, more than 100 Draft Clark MeetUps will be held across the nation on Monday.
On Aug. 4, five Arkansas meetings were held in Little Rock, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Monticello and Mountain View that were attended by 300 Clark supporters in the state.
Citizens are also invited to sign an Arkansans for Clark online petition by visiting www.arkansansforclark.com. More information is available at www.draftclark2004.com.
