2. I have about had it with you Tboullett!
Why don't you go post something positive about someone for once?

That money has not been collected yet. It is money people have pledged to Clark if he enters. So where is it? It is in the pockets of Americans waiting to be donated to the Clark campaign if he enters.

Stop the bullsh*t PLEASE!

Mike

4. Drink the coffee and wake up
Money is being sent to a Tulsa Drop box. Look at the DraftClark2004 website. I have copies of the address.

It is PO Box 702417
Tulsa OK 74170

That's a drop box located off of Havard and 31st Street in Tulsa. Somebody is sending money there. Who is collecting it? Where is it being deposited? Who is counting it?

3. TBOULETT you have been posting negative things all day
about Clark and have not provided a single shred of evidence to back up your claim. What's your deal? Are you on Karl Rove's payroll?

6. Only about certain people who have a questionable background
Only about certain people who have a questionable background.

I would love to see Clark make it to the White House. The people at Little Rock have a history in Oklahoma. I don't want to see Clark's campaign fall apart from these people's efforts.

Jason was caught red handed helping a repug candidate in Tulsa, while he was on the payroll of a Democratic candidate. Jason used stamps, paper, computers, address lists, all paid for by Democratic money to help a repug. This is well known in Tulsa and in Oklahoma. This activity shows he shouldn't be trusted. Are you defending his activities?

7. I don't think you're being fair

You could ask that question of any political organization. All your question marks seem accusatory.

I know I have not been easy on Clark supporters, but your post does not seem fair to me.

8. Jason has never been fair
Jason has never been fair, I have seen how he works. Clark doesn't need his type to win.

10. But you did not explain any of this in your original post
I had no idea what you were referring too. Now I see you added some explanation in a post above this. If you could post some links to this information it would be helpful. I just don't think it's helpful to make accusations with out a link to some information to corroborate it.

11. Mistaken
I think somebody was misinformed. The "general fund" is a pledge arrangement where you agree to send a campaign donation to Clark's campaign once he announces. The draftclark website does not handle the money.

12. Moreover ...
Edited on Tue Aug-26-03 12:55 AM by 11cents
tboullett evidently doesn't realize that there are two Draft Clark PACs -- draftwesleyclark.com and draftclark2004.com. tboullett gave the PO Box for the latter, but it's the *former* which is running the "general fund" pledge campaign. As for draftclark2004.com -- as I said above, the website makes it clear that it's accepting donations for its own operations, not for Clark. Legally, it can't collect for Clark.

13. Thanks--you've gotten the attention of people who are looking into this
You've done a service by alerting people in the draft organization. They're investigating Jason, making telephone calls and so on, and I'm sure we'll get some answers tomorrow.

Thanks very much; let's just wait and see how this shakes out by tomorrow afternoon, OK?

14. Draft organizations ...
ALWAYS operate outside of the sphere of the object of their affection .... otherwise: .. it wouldnt be a draft: .. it would be a candidacy ...

Clark didnt establish the DRAFT movement: .... the individuals did ....

Its THEIR money: .. not his ......

For a person who doesnt like Clark, You SURE focus alot on Clark ....

Mewonders what time you have for positive, constructive support of progressives if you spend so much time denigrating progressives .....

15. SO, Clark's good name is being used?????
If I understand about these PAC's, they can raise money using Clark's name, only give Clark $5,000.00 and spend the rest on say padded salaries for admin costs??????

When Jason said he raised $43,000.00 for the Tulsa Democrats as reported in the Tulsa World, and only a few hundred made it to the party checking account....well thousands were spent some where.. and this is being done under Clark's name...
