Americans hate the utilities. Apparently, the Canadians are not too fond of them either.

Apparently coming to Bush's rescue by saying the blackout was caused by not going to deregulation fast enough.

Dennis has a history of standing up for the people. He is absolutely right about deregulation.

Kucinich, a longtime critic of Akron, Ohio-based FirstEnergy, earlier this month called for Ohio regulators to revoke FirstEnergy's operating license. FirstEnergy has called Kucinich's request speculative and irresponsible."

Kucinich is doing his duty as a public servant by stating that FirstEnergy Corp. has lost the privilege to have its operating license when it overcharges consumers, does little to invest this capital in improving the power grid, and doesn't even believe that ratepayers are "entitled" to the power which they are paying excessive prices for. But they believe that any public servant who does not follow the wishes of their lobbyists, are speculative and irresponsible. What does this make us?

If they could have it their way we would be paying these rates, while only recieving the energy that we paid for once a week. When will the other primary candidates address this issue?
