Dean's Freshman year roommate supports him for president.
More proof that Dean is evil incarnate!!!

"I knew him when he was just another human being," Mancini said. "It doesn't look like life has changed him much since then."

Mancini describes Dean as an open-minded and down-to-earth type of guy. He said with Dean's family background, he could easily have just sat back and cruised through college, but that isn't what happened.

"He got actively involved in a lot of things, including mentoring inner-city children," Mancini said. "It wasn't something he had to do, but he was aggressive about doing good things even back then."

Mancini admitted he had no wild or crazy stories to tell about Dean.

"No shocking moments, police arrests or anything outrageous," Mancini said. "He certainly has my vote."

1. Stark contrast to Bush's college buds...
...who all had to be paid off to sing his praises...

That or they were offed.

And it's good to hear some perspective on what Dean was like before he entertained Presidential aspirations...

2. That is so Cool! I love this Story!
We had a Dr. @ the 1st Meetup I went to last month who went to medical school with Dr. Dean and brougth the class annual so we could all see their pictures from 1978!

And, of course, Dr Lowenstein is going to vote for Dean, too! :kick:

3. Now we'll get the Dean-is-boring attacks because he's clean
Dr. Dean is Mr. Clean!

What a refreshing change from the Jesse James we have occupying the White House.

4. How boring!
He didn't brand anyone on the ass with a hot iron or do any of those Skull and Bones initiations in coffins? No coke? Gee, I'll bet he got higher than a 'C' average, too, and never blew up frogs when he was 17. Bo-ring!

Hitler is probably spinning in his grave since he had all of his hopes pinned on Bush to resurrect the 4th Reich, and then this Dean fellow comes along.

I LOVE IT! The guy just comes across as 'clean'.

5. When I told my dad about Dean..
one of the things he asked me was "Is he a Clinton?" I knew what he (usually a GOP voter) was referring to. I wonder how many others will ask that to themselves..

7. A-HA!

This just proves he's really a centrist in liberal's clothing, or that the media and Karl Rove really support him, or that he did a horrible job as governor - or something like that. I knew it!

"mentoring inner-city children"? Jeez, the guy's even more of a mensch than I had given him credit for.
