Kerry has consistantly polled slightly higher than Dean in recent head to head comparisons with Bush according to Rasmussen Reports.

2. But Democrat is tied with Bush!

According to the poll, though Kerry loses with 36% and Dean with 34% to Bush's 45%, "Democrat" ties Bush with 42%. Who exactly is the person who makes the website, and what spin would he be trying to put on these statistics? Since numbers can be cooked, I'm always wary.

But none of the named candidates are ahead or even yet. Then again, only 1/3 of Dems can apparently even name a candidate at this point so... whatever.
