Kucinich will be in Oakland Monday September 15

This just in. Congressman Dennis Kucinich will be in Oakland on Monday September 15. Dennis to speak to California Nurses Association.

Tickets to fundraising luncheon on sale at Solano Stroll Kucinich booth on Sunday September 14.

Kucinich booth to be located on north side of Solano Ave. between Cornell and Stannage near San Pablo. Stay tuned for info on other appearances. Please call all your volunteers to invite them to the Sunday Solano Stroll and Monday luncheon.

JOIN ACTIVISTS FOR DENNIS KUCINICH AT THE SOLANO STROLL PARADE:

Theme: The Solano Stroll is an annual event in Berkeley and Albany that draws tens of thousands of people. This years theme is "Imagine."

What: We love a parade, but with this year's theme, we especially want as many volunteers as possible to come out and say "Imagine world peace," "Imagine full employment," "Imagine health care for all," and "Imagine President Dennis Kucinich and all of us making it happen." The East Bay Kucinich for President Committee is sponsoring a contingent and booth at the street fair. Wear a red, white or blue Kucinich T-shirt and Kucinich Buttons. We will have Kucinich window signs to carry, baseball cards to pass out and maybe a new flyer. The parade ends up near our booth at the bottom of Solano Ave. Help collect endorsement at the street fair. Be a part of the Kucinich parade contingent and the fun!

Time: 9:30 a.m. and lasts until late afternoon

Place: Meet at the North Berkeley Library From HWY 80, take Buchanan St. / Albany exit east past San Pablo Ave. Continue (Buchanan turns into Marin Ave) to "The Alameda" street. Meet on the lawn on the north side of the library
