NO VOTE HERE

"I admire Joe Lieberman," the congressman said with a big smile.

"He has integrity. Of all the Democratic candidates, he has been consistent in his position with regard to the war on terrorism and the war on Iraq."

And, the House member continued, people should not criticize the Connecticut senator for holding a Miami fund-raiser on the second anniversary of Sept. 11.

"For him to schedule an event on this day reflects his belief that the best thing we can do is get on with the business of America," the congressman said. "I don't fault him for that."

But vote for him? No way.

Connecticut Rep. Rob Simmons, R-2nd District, said his candidate is George W. Bush.
