Absolutely great article from the San Francisco Sentinel

That's one of the best articles (from my pro-Kerry perspective, anyway) I've seen about Kerry as compared to the other candidates... one of them in particular. :)

1. ho ho ho
Thanks for posting. I also favor Kerry over Dean.

For every problem this country faces, Kerry has a well-thought out answer. To me, it’s simple. The nation has problems. John Kerry has sensible, thoughtful, innovative answers. Visit his website. See for yourself. I cannot emphasize this point enough. I'm supporting John Kerry because he's sat down and worked out real solutions that make sense to our nation's problems.

Yep, that's why I support him. But apparently I'm wrong. Get ready for the tidal wave of backlash...

2. Good article
The Dean campaign reminnds me of the 60's McCarthy campaign...lots of bells and whistles but not a whole lot of substance.

6. Have to let go of Patriot Act
We've explained many many times. In the context of those times, and the fact that liberals like Wellstone among others voted for it, a liberal like Kerry can still be excused for getting caught up in the hysteria of post-9/11. And it's not like he has said he wants to continue it. He hates John Ashcroft, voted against his appointment, and has said he'd end the Patriot Act or let it run out in 2005 and allow it to die.

As for the IWR, if you're hardcore Dean or something, Kerry will always be a shady nuanced traitor to peaceful Americans. But from an impartial view, it can be quite understood why Kerry voted the way he did.

7. Exactly what I thought about Kerry vs Dean!
I used to be a Dean follower like this journalist but switched to Kerry after hearing his vision. This man has a plan for modernization and reduction on our dependence of oil like no other, and those are issues I hold very high this election.

The war on Iraq and the patriot act where votes I could not disagree with more, but Dean has also had his fair share of conservative mind boggling votes as Vermont Gov. which he claims are "in the past".

Regardless I'm going to start judging these canidates on their plans and policy, and Kerry wins.
