1. I'm all for buying the book (or 2 or 3 or 10 copies of it).

but, I also wonder what it will be about, and how much will actually be written by Dean himself. And I mean that with no malicious intent; I'm a Dean supporter. It's already listed at 240 pages which, from the work I've done in publishing, is highly suggestive of the fact that the book is finished and ready to go (either that, or, he was given a 240 page limit by the publisher to yield x price). So, my guess is that it is about his life and Vermont days, and that he did write it himself.

However, how could the book NOT include stuff about the campaign? I would think that it would at least to have an epilogue on the campaign taking off, etc., right? but, if it's being written during the campaign, I don't really see Dean having any time to write it. This will be important if only because the neo-cons who bitched about Hillary's ghost-writing credits will make an issue out of it.

I'd love to read about the Vermont years and all, but it would be really cool to have some campaing stuff (esp. sleepless summer tour).

I first heard about it about 5 months ago. It was hinted at then that it was finished.

Keeps on popping up in my searches, so it's likely that he wrote it before he started campaigning.
