Dean Campaign Announces Major Endorsement
Dean Campaign Announces Major Endorsement
BURLINGTON--Dean for America announced tonight the endorsement of Avra Siegal, a senior at the University of Michigan. Siegal, a native of Manhattan, was the campaign's 400,000th personal endorsement--a milestone in the campaign's "September to Remember," thirty days that will change politics in America forever.

"Avra's endorsement today is an important step for our campaign to take our country back," Governor Dean said. "We're building the greatest grassroots campaign presidential politics has ever seen, and in order to do that, we need to win one American at a time."

1. LOL, thinkahead.
The road is long. With many a winding turn. And Dean has had his 15 minutes. Let's get ready to rumble!

3. A major endorsement from a regular joe.
Who happened to be the regular joe who pushed the Dean signups over the 400K point. :)

4. totally in line with the campaign
making a big deal out of the average guy -- 400,000th signed-up is pretty big deal, too. And they WILL get to 450,000 by the 30th... it all has to do with our friend the bat...

6. That was rude
and in spite of your rudeness, I suspect that John Kerry at least understands that every new person to the campaign means another vote, another donation, and the potential for more and more support.

grassroots
(used with a sing. or pl. v.)
1. the common or ordinary people, esp. as contrasted with the leadership or elite of a political party, social organization, etc.; the rank and file.

All politics is local.

7. Thanks for that enlightened response, DJcairo.
This is exactly how Dean will win the nomination...one "experienced politico" at a time....
