Kucinich supporters lead in regional NAFTA protests!!
NAFTA region of Chihuahua State/NM,Texas get together to plan more maquiladoras, low wages for Mexican workers who get the jobs shipped to Mexico, and unlimited pollution with no limitation, in Mexico!!

The leader of the protest is the Campus (professor) sponsor for the Kucinich for President campaign at WNMU where the "conference" is being held. (Former Green)Protestors are largely Kucinich Dem supporters and former Green Party members who have switched to Kucinich, and Grant County Peace Coalition members.

Some excitement yesterday when the President of the University tried to pull a "free speech zone" a block away, out of sight of the delegates, while pro-Nafta people(none) were supposed to be allowed right next to the entrance of the delegates. We fussed and fumed, acted peacefully, just kept after the administration for a hard copy of their "rules," as if they had a policy....and the date this "policy" was adopted and if it was a permanent policy or just cobbled together by the President when he found out that there were protestors outside his fancy reception...Finally the ACLU lawyer came out, by then the administration had backed down, and we were informed exactly what we could do according to the ACLU...

ALL OF THE PROTESTORS today were Kucinich supporters.

It's SOOOO nice to be unselfish like Dennis, and care for the people of the region and their welfare and not just Americans.

GO DENNIS!! YOU INSPIRE US AND GIVE US HOPE!!

3. Thought we were all going to be arrested at one point,
including our "Veteran for Peace" in a wheelchair.Boy, those powers that be sure hate protests!!They called out the State Police, who luckily kept a low profile and the situation was resolved peacably. The latest (Dem) judge appointed by Gov. Richardson stopped to shake my hand on his way in and this defused the situation, since it was then obvious we were peaceful and not beyond the pale.

The assistant to the ex-CIA President of the University and a University VP monitored the situation constantly,cell-phones in hand, and they were the ones who called the State Police on us, as we knew it wasn't the Campus Police, since we could hear her conversations on the cell-phone.

fancy reception, today for the delegates' arriving back from lunch, and TOMORROW for the final session.

Great signs: "Ordinary Person against NAFTA," "NAFTA KILLS CAMPESINOS,", DRUMS AND CHANTS,...

The FIRST demonstration against regional NAFTA in all the years it has been held here and in Chihuahua. We are DETERMINED and the PEOPLE WILL BE HEARD!!

Social justice people, environmental advocates, peace with justice people, jobs with justice people, we are all united for a better world.

7. The support of Greens
must scare the boyz in the undisclosed location.
Imagine the Green party pulling nationally for Kucinich.
This could make some races a lot harder for Rove.
Like I said. They are responding all over the lot. How else can you explain the U.N. verbal outburst?

They had to sell tough to Rummy, multilateralist to Old Europe and any nation with boys and girls in pith helmets, and compassionate conservative and feminist revolutionary against oppression of the sisterhood.

The idea that Kucinich is chopping at the base of his limb must be a very disquieting sensation. Unlike Dubya, Dennis is lucid.

And what was with that finger rubbing and eye rolling?

10. Ironic that Bush is threatening to go back to bilateral trade agreements
Even he must think NAFTA sucks rocks. Yet none of the other "Democratic" candidates are taking stands against these monstrosities.

Only Dennis.
