WATERLOO, Iowa - Sen. Edward M. Kennedy and White House hopeful Sen. John F. Kerry rallied Iowa Democrats yesterday with harsh attacks against President Bush, including a call for him to repay $1 million for his ``aircraft landing stunt.''


Speaking to a veterans' group in Des Moines, Kerry called on Bush's campaign to reimburse American taxpayers the $1 million it cost for him to land on an aircraft carrier when he declared the end of major hostilities in Iraq in May.
