Update on Hollings' seat (US Senate, SC): Coble's in
Girlfriend lives across the street from Columbia mayor Bob Coble. He's now got Bob Coble for US Senate stickers on all his vehicles. You know? I think he's running.

1. Is That Good?
I don't know enough about South Carolina politics.

2. Coble will be a very important force in the race
However, Inez Tenenbaum is the best (and probably only) candidate who can win this race. She is bright, well-liked, and most-importantly, can be elected statewide without any problems. If Coble wants to become involved in statewide politics, he'd do well to wait two years and take on Sanford.
