Kucinich people: great job at the L.A. County Fair
Kucinich was the only candidate with a booth at the Los Angeles County Fair and it was in a prime location. Whenever I checked out the booth, it was always crowded with people asking about Dennis. Dennis also had a ton of people wearing Kucinich T-shirts and buttons around the fair. I guess Dennis is really popular in L.A. County.

1. He should tell people to vote NO on recall
I hope everyone in California wises up to this Republican effort to defeat democracy.

3. He's been telling everyone to vote "no" on the recall.
I've received a number of messages in my email from him saying exactly that.

2. sweet
great news.

Just now, I saw Dennis's visit from Saint Paul back in August(which I atteneded) on my public(Mankato, 40,000 people) television. Dennis is starting to invade everywhere!

You can't stop the voice of the people.

Here is hoping for some big Q3 numbers.

:)

6. That's AWESOME
It's like I've been telling everybody all along: Kucinich's campaign is much bigger than the poll numbers suggest. It's a very grassroots, under-the-radar campaign whose volunteers are a dedicated bunch. They may not have much money to give, but their devotion in time and effort more than makes up for it.

It's a shame that the mainstream news media continues to ignore Kucinich. Even "liberal" National Public Radio all but ignores him, even though he consistently does well in the debates and is polling ahead of everyone else among many voting groups-- Hispanics in particular.

But of course, most of these groups are non-white and non-middle-class, so their opinion obviously "doesn't matter" (or "shouldn't matter") and are therefore not worthy of news coverage :eyes:

7. Big presence at the Grant County, NM Fair too.
At the Democratic booth, DK bumper stickers were the hot item.

8. I love to see things like this!
Has everyone heard about his book release? "A Prayer for America" due for release next month.

Between that, and the cross country walk(set to begin in Maine on Oct. 8th if anyone in that area wants to join in), I have a feeling October is ging to be a big month for Dennis. :bounce: :toast:

and with Studs Terkel wow! I didnt know Dennis wrote. He is even more awesome than I thought. Tell me when he is a left hander too heh I doubt he is though, because it says he played catcher when he played baseball as a youth left handed catchers are rare as they come.

12. Dennis has been writing for a while.
He's written published articles, writes his own speeches, and does the writing on his issues and plans for the campaign website, plus his blog entries.(too rare, I know but he's SO busy!)

There are actually TWO books being released, one about the workers of America (I can never recall the title perfectly) and "A Prayer For America". I have plans to get them both from a local bookstore.

10. I was supposed to be there Friday night.
Helping at the booth. By the time I got off work, and after 70+ hours put in this week, it was too late and I was too spent to drive all the way down there; 90 minutes or so one way.

I'm glad to hear we had a big presence. Did you get to hear Willie's concert?
