Dean only 340 supporters away from meeting goal of 450,000 by end of Q3

1. Does he count the people who give over and over as separate supporters?

Just curious. A lot of Dean supporters give multiple times during the quarter.

2. No, the supporters are discrete.

I know bec my husband and I have both donated more than once and we don't get "double or triple" mailings....

3. In the original graphic

they showed # of contributors (individuals who donated, no matter how many times), but when they changed the graphic they changed it to # of contributions. I think it may just be too hard to keep up right now. Counting contributions is probably much easier than counting contributors -- though of course this number will come out with the final reporting.

I talked to a very cool guy at HQ today who cleared up some questions I had about contributing. I had him look up how much I had donated and he was impressed with how many times I had donated. I am one of those $25 at a time donors...a few $50s and $100s, but mostly smaller donations.
I'm going to make a final sizable donation tomorrow, though, to hit my limit and get my name on the FEC database (just for fun...)
