I was actually a question asker, not a naysayer. I wondered about the wisdom of raising the bar that high. It wouldn't take much for others to say, "Dean failed," even though he'd raised megabucks.

I'm happy to admit I was wrong.

12. Apparently Joe Trippi knows what he is doing and

there were no words from Dean that were more powerful to "grassroots" people...YOU HAVE THE POWER! We feel involved in the process; we feel empowered; we feel a reason to vote again (or ever).

I have NEVER donated to a campaign before. I now donate in small amounts every week. Amazing!

That is why the Dean campaign can ask for whatever amount they want and will get it!

20. How are they reporting those amts in time?

Did the party throwers just tell them the totals or will they apply to next quarter? Can they report this quarters totals if the $ isn't in hand? I can see how checks dated before the end of the quarter could apply, but how will they know the total to give in the morning?

I didn't get to a party gave 50 on the site today. AND...tommorrow? I just found out that the meet up is at our local library, about half a mile away! I haven't been to one and I'm going.

I am sad to say that I have not yet donated to the Dean campaign.
