4. Wonder if Leno will joke about The Bat
and Dean's use of it to rally fundraising.

Dean has broken Clinton's single quarter fundraising record in a quarter not favorable for fundraising. That should be big news.

I think that Dean will hit the $15 million dollar mark tonight and that would make his fundraising take 3-5 times the other candidates, especially the Establishment Dems.

Clark will rake in $2-3 million but that includes donations promised to the Draft Clark movment, so this sudden fundraising success by Clark is a sham, since the Draft Clark movement is at least 6 months old.

5. Dean is not breaking Clinton's record.
He is shattering it. By nearly half again as much. 3x the take of the others! Nearly as much as the others combined! Unbelievable. At $79.27 a pop.

9. This doesn't make anyone scratch his or her head?
The media is campaigning so incredibly hard for Arnold in CA, and now they're giving Dean free time?

Nobody wonders why.

10. Easy...Dean wil get ratings...
Will Jay play nice? Probably not. He'll probably use the time to make weak jokes and not let Dean explain anything (as he would with any other Dem candidate).

Than again, maybe we'll be surprised...

11. I think people here are too hard on Leno
He's a comdeian and he makes wise cracks about all parties. I hear him come out with some good ones about Bush just as often as he does anyone else. It's his job to make fun of people and I don't think he singles anyone out. I think he'll be very hospitable to Dean and the two of them will have a blast on the show. I just hope Dean behaves himself. I hear he has a mischievous sense of humor and I just hope he doesn't say anything too politically incorrect while joking around with Leno.
