This is so specific -- just one ethnic group in one state. How about we get a poll of Irish Americans in North Dakota? Who are they supporting?

Don't hear much about Clark other than folks wondering whats up with him (BTW I live in a tourist town- we get people from ALL over the US/world....)

8. the reasoning why Gen. Clark is doing well

among Latinos according to the article is a valid one, Latinos are an intensely patriotic and generally pro-military group who on many social issues tend to be conservative. This early poll is good news for the General, but I'm pleased that Dean--who just a few weeks ago some of his opponents on DU were arguing had little appeal to people of color (I believe his support was described as being mostly white, upper middle class)is a solid second with 19% and with months to go on the campaign trail will agressively work to reach out and win the latino vote due to his strong postions on immigration reform and healthcare.

9. Which poll is correct? This one in Arizona Republic shows

much tighter race among Latinos in Arizona and it appears to be the same poll. Shows Clark ahead but Dean close on his heels:

Clark: 13%
Dean: 10%
Liberman: 9%
Gep: 8%
Edwards 5%
Kerry, Braun, Kucinich, Sharpton are all under 5%
Undecided: 48%
