Yes, I know this is a mini-plug for my candidate (or Kerry), but I found it also a sign that the general public (non-military related) may become even more receptive to the liberal criticisms of Bush's policies...here and abroad.
http://salon.com/news/feature/2003/10/02/military/index.html*As for those looking for any flame-bait...the closest I'll come is that I'm guessing most conservative military-types will view Dean as a liberal New Englander who signed a gay civil unions bill (which I applaud, but we're talking politics here) and got a medical waiver from Vietnam (again talking purely politics so please don't respond on this point). Now, they might not come out and vote for Bush because they're unhappy w/him, but they will if they really don't like the alternative. Why not just go with somebody who might be able to actually get them to betray their party loyalties? Just some food for thought.
