What if some guy says, "Well, I'm still pro-life, anti-gay rights, anti-affermative action, pro-Bush tax cuts, pro-Iraq War, anti-public education, pro-taking tax money to private schools via vouchers, anti-getting more people covered with health insurance, and anti-environment. I will still hold these same views and fight for them; however, I now want to be a Democrat!" Would he be welcomed?
