Ashton Kutcher will campaign with Edwards in Iowa...
The support goes beyond just hosting the fundraiser.

DUDE, KUCHER BACKS EDWARDS
(10/17/03) U.S. Sen. John Edwards has won the backing of actor Ashton Kutcher.

Kutcher, whose credits include the movie "Dude, Where's My Car?" and the television sitcom "That 70s Show," will host a fundraiser for Edwards on Oct. 29 in Los Angeles, according to Edwards' presidential campaign. The event is scheduled to be held at the home of movie actor Dennis Hopper.

Kutcher also plans to campaign this fall with Edwards in Iowa, the nation's first presidential caucus state, said Edwards spokewoman Jennifer Palmieri. Kutchner is a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

2. Kutcher's a pretty talented, hard working guy
Edited on Mon Oct-20-03 10:41 AM by AP
whose politics seem to be in the rigth place. (He blew the Bush twins in for smoking pot when he had the chance). Kutcher went from Iowa to the top of his profession, without any connections. Just talent. Where's the lack of substance?\

It's not like it's the Hilton sisters or that Trump daughter or Stella McCartney.

13. Is Jennifer Palmieri reading my posts?

Here's her press release (from the blog) :

Oh, and Senator Edwards was mentioned in today’s Names & Faces column in the Washington Post:
"These guys know what it's like to work really hard to make a living . . . and they have the best hair in their respective fields." -- John Edwards spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri, telling Us magazine what actor Ashton Kutcher, who is throwing a $1,000-a-plate fundraiser for the Democratic presidential candidate, has in common with her boss.

4. Ashton is such a hottie! I love him...
I'm glad he's on our side! I won't be supporting Edwards probably, but this perked my interest. Edwards also has Olivia Newton-John. Interesting stuff...

9. Only One Dude
And thats Jeff Bridges, the Dude or El Duderino (if you aren't into the whole brevity thing). Calling Ashton the Dude, its wrong and it will not stand.... This agression will not stand...
sorry had to take the chance to rattle of some Big Lebowski quotes.... its a sickness.
Kudos to Ashton for supporting Edwards and stepping up.

10. Dude or not, it's cool
And Ashton will excite young people to listen to Edwards. And that's cool, too.

8. Good!
I'm not really a fan of Ashton Kutcher, but if draws one new young person into the Dem. party, then I say it's a good thing. Edwards is my #2 and I'm surprised his youthful appearance and relaxed/charming style of speaking hasn't been more popular with younger voters.

11. Glad to hear kutcher is an active Dem
or actively supports democrats! It will do good to woo youth over to our party. Something the DNC is currently ignoring.
