3. Just what I expected
Dean supporter here in AZ :hi: but the fact that Arizona is rabid right wing state is simply not true. Tech jobs came here in the early 50s and spurred economic growth and the population but recently most tech jobs went overseas resulting into massive layoffs and really hurting this economy. The people of Arizona want a change and they will be getting one.

9. LOL Westerners love Dean!
So much for the idea that Dean could only do well in the northeast.

15. Santa Cruz hates Bush
and loves Dean, though we have plenty of Kucinich supporters here too.

Yep, nice to be part of that "red area" on the CA map that overwhelmingly rejected the recall and Arnie.

Can we help it if the rest of the state is crazy?

8. I'd love to know where they polled.....
540 registered voters throughout Arizona ???

Not a real big pool to judge from from....4.3% margin of error....hmmm

I know there are a fair number of Kucinich people here...in Tucson and also in N Az...

I find that poll to be questionable- knowing the number of DK supporters...hard to believe he's really at under 1%.

Anyone know what kind of poll it was??
hey...don't get mad...I'm just curious.

Peace
DR

10. It is an excepted law of statistics that a well chosen sample
doesn't have to be all that large to get the MOE you have sited. For the record, what that 4.3% MOE means is that any person's percentage can be from 4.3% lower to 4.3% higher. That range is accurate 95% of the time. In lay terms, 19 out of 20 times, if the real election were held the same day as that poll the results of each candidate woudl fall within the specified range.

13. Great News...
and while all of the other candidates concentrate on South Carolina on Feb. 3, Dean will be racking up delegates in Arizona, New Mexico, North Dakota and Oklahoma. I suspect that Gep is a lock in Missouri on the same day and Clark will probably take Delaware.

I'm not conceding SC btw, it's just that other campaigns will probably dedicate more resources to winning there than Dean will. I'll be doing my small part though of driving Dean supporters to the polls.
