Kerry Releases Names of Big Fund - Raisers
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Filed at 7:47 p.m. ET
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Following President Bush's lead, Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry has released names of his biggest campaign fund-raisers.

Kerry's Web site has the names of about 110 people who raised more than $50,000 for his campaign.

Bush also releases the names of fund-raisers who have solicited at least $50,000. There were about 290 names on Bush's list as of Sept. 30, his latest update.<snip>

Bush and Kerry are both going beyond what the Federal Election Commission requires.<snip>

1. Dang! $50,000 is a lot of money!
I have a Dean Team page where I have raised almost $2k, and I donated another $2k myself. Maybe I should shoot higher. :)

2. good for kerry
when i read he "follows bush's lead" i could only thing of bad things as i can't think of anything good bush does. but i'm glad kerry is releasing this and going beyond requirements set by the FEC. i give no credit to bush though as he is still hiding info , especially concerning the cheney energy meetings. for bush this is just one of those things they do that may seem ok, but when you look into it it's just a cover for the crap he did.kind of like the aids funding where the money came out of other important programs.

3. Kerry's always been open about campaign money and pushed for
greater transparency throughout his career. He has advocated for public financing since he first stepped foot in the Senate.
