Democrat Ben Chandler in tight race for Governor in Kentucky
Democrat Ben Chandler (current Kentucky Attorney General) is in a dead heat with Republican revival Congressman Ernie Fletcher. The mud is being slung and the Repubs are doing most of it. The Republican Governors Association funded attack ads that even Fletcher says he wouldn't have run, they were so blatantly false. A poll just more than a week ago had Fletcher with a 5% lead. This week, a new poll showed them tied.
Bush came to Lexington 2 weeks ago to raise money for Fletcher. The fundraiser generated one of the largest protests downtown Lexington has seen in many years. Still, the Repubs filled the troughs with $$$$.
If you can afford it, financial help would be appreciated. Spread the word! http://chandlerowen2003.com/
