Dean's lead in NH unchanged from one month ago new poll finds
Dean Holds Lead in N.H. Polls

Sunday, October 26, 2003; 1:41 PM

BOSTON -- Democrat Howard Dean holds a 13-point lead over John Kerry in New Hampshire, according to poll released Sunday, the latest to show the former Vermont governor ahead in a state that has a presidential primary Jan. 27.

After weeks of attacks by rivals and the entrance of retired Gen. Wesley Clark into the race, Dean is maintaining a double-digit lead in most of the surveys.

Dean drew support from 37 percent of those surveyed for the Boston Globe/WBZ, while Kerry, a Massachusetts senator, had the backing of 24 percent. Dean had a 12-point lead over Kerry in the same poll a month ago.

2. The same except for Zogby.
Can opinion really be fluctuating as much as he says it is in his polls. I think that Kerry needs to keep a TV presence in NH bcause the minute he goes on TV his polls improve unlike Edwards and some other. The Bob Shrum media team is great with the ads. They're hip and a lot cooler than any of the other guys'.

4. Oh my, what a comeback for Kerry!
This is amazing, Kerry made up 10 points from the Zogby poll in a matter of days!

At this rate, Kerry will be leading Dean within a week.

9. 63-percent of Democrats prefer someone else.
Gee. That's almost 2:1 for ABD.

How's that for spin?

7. Dean holds his lead in New Hampshire polls after weeks of attack
That's the most widely used title for this AP article.

8. Funny...do they ever mention that's how he made his name
by attacking the others for months to the glee of the corporate media. Now, when there' reciprocation, the corporate media acts like poor Dean is being picked on. Couldn't possibly be that his CENTRIST RECORD doesn't match his POPULIST RHETORIC.
