in the voters pocket - or at least Bush plan to lie to the voter by exaggerating how much of the tax cut wound up in his pocket while the Birth Tax on his children - the National Debt - increased.
Seeems that the WSJ has Alan Murray saying how smart the Bush tax cuts were politically - because the "Mr. Bush will be driving (because the deficit doesn't cut as an issue, and the Democrats) "are all stuck peddling responsibility and sacrifice, an unpleasant alternative to Mr. Bush's cash on the barrel."
The ABCnote also repeats the dailly GOP line of the power of the one time, this quarter only, "Gauzy Growth figures of the 3rd quarter" due Thursday. And then warns of the GOP plan to get folks to look away from the economic and foriegn disaster that is the Bush 3 years to date, and to instead focus on a "values" PR piece, with details of this values issue that destroys all Dems are to be milked by daily media mention that they are "on the way too".
Of course the reason Bush lied to get us into Iraq was to save us, per Gillespie, since we now "wage this war against terror in places like Kabul or Baghdad (rather than) places like Boston or Kansas, the American people understand the front line has become Iraq".
Of course the ABCnote spun the above in a way so as to imply that no matter how bad Bush is, the Dem who is to TBD (to be announced as the alternative at the Dem convention) will be the underdog through out the race.
