Experience with Bush for Pres. caller in Georgia
Just wanted to share this story from the Dean blog...which shows the cracks in the Bush machine. No wonder we're seeing more and more Republicans at the Meetups.

"Well at any rate there was a guy there who told
this hilarious story I have to tell you about.

Alright, he gets a call from a lady who is
one of the +500+ paid volunteers in this
state that are calling for George Bush.

She says she's fundraising, and how
would you like to contribute. This gentleman,
an elderly man from Texas and the nicest guy
you'll ever meet (I asked him to come here
and post so I hope I'm not stealing his thunder)
said - "Young lady, you sound like a nice girl
so I'm not going to tell you what I think about
George Bush." And she said, no, please go on.
So he proceeded to explain to her in Texas
terms what George Bush means to him. When
he was done, she was silent - then she said
"You know, I'm just paid to do this, but
I really can't stand the guy" (roftl)
then she said "I have a son out there and
I just don't think hes a good president"

"But you know, sir, I really appreciate
you being so polite about saying that.
Most people I talk to are angry and start
yelling about him."

1. ROTFL this is great...I am praying that there are more like her, and like
the Montana rancher I saw on the news last night who switched parties (after being a life-long Republican) because of environmental concerns and issues...
This pretender is a major moron and indeed a miserable failure (even Google says so!) and I pray people wake up, look past the photo ops and vote this scumbag out of office, him and all his felonious cronies.

2. Oxymoron - paid volunteer
Wasn't there some flak a while ago about some Dem bill which compensated people for doing volunteer work (like a tax break, or something?)?

Somehow, this oxymoron sticks in my mind as a Repuke rally point.

I really would like to remember . . .
