I remember him bringing this up when I met him in DC that night, this is great, wont hear about it on the news but its a great thing, that night he talked about community and how we need it, he also stressed the importance of libraries. Anyone can tell you that libraries are useful especially people who grew up in the city.

1. You should have seen the morning news in Cleveland this week
Geriatric patients with IV bags on their wheelchairs were being pushed through the snow flurries on a cold December morning to waiting medical transport vans. It was 21st century Dickens-esque.

What is wrong with this country? Our town can afford three new stadiums with loge seating for the patrician class, while the elderly suffer indignities and indifference in a faceless and financially strapped medical system.

Three new stadiums? wow. I forget the name of the DC hospital but people are fighting for it too. Its small stuff like this that I admire. Thanks for responding.

5. No fanfare, just making a real difference in peoples' lives
This is why Dennis Kucinich is the leader America needs, especially now. Week after week, there are more examples of him gettting personally involved in helping average Americans without a whiff of self-promotion or pandering.

It's been said that, in a democracy, the people get the representation they deserve... thankfully, Dennis is a compassionate and generous soul and wants the job anyway.

6. LOL
He wants the job anyway!

He is compassionate, generous, and determined to give his all for us. It's no surprise that he steps up to the plate whenever people need a champion.

10. "the small stuff is the best stuff."

to bad the warriors who sacrifice their political careers, seldom receive this recognition. When Kucinich fights to prevent local hospitals from politically driven cuts, he fights for human lives.

Tharesa has learned the meaning of sacrifice and selflessness, as do all who have ideals. The today's angry idealists shall be the "constructive realists" of tommorrow!

11. Its the best
He urged DC residents to do the same, and I wish them the best of luck. Thanks Tharesa for giving me your views, I feel we are all idealists and pragmatists at the same time.

12. God bless you.
Tharesa and everyone else in the same ship, sink or swim we all need each other.

And bless every young idealist who, in the words of Frederick Douglass, must "agitate, agitate, agitate!"

15. Thanks for posting this, John
:yourock:

Just another example of what makes Kucinich the best candidate.

He personally demonstrates the values that others only pay lip service to. He doesn't just fight for people by submitting bills and making speeches, he gets out in the trenches, gets personally involved in the effort (e.g. Diabolic... er I mean Diebold), and builds support from the ground level up.

We're so lucky to have him as a candidate.

Do America a favor: VOTE KUCINICH.

16. Its a great and noble thing
Small and you wont hear about it on CNN, MSNBC, or FOX but its community and he brought that up a lot when I saw him speak. This is such a great thing to do.

18. Its the small yet brilliant stuff that I admire
Here we have a candiate who's leadin the charge to repeal the Patriot Act, a vocal critic of the war, and now Diebold, keep it up Dennis, good things happen to those who wait.
