Is Dean going to name Gore as his running mate?
Gore can be VP again can't he? Dean as president, Gore as VP, Edwards as Attorney General, Clark as Secretary of Defense, Graham has to be in there somewhere too. Heck, give the whole darn field a spot in the administration. How about that to unite the Democratic party?

9. Agreed. Thank you.

amendments 12 and 22 say nothing about limiting the VP. I did learn something though, Bill Clinton cannot be VP.

Last sentence of 12th amendment: "But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."

edit: typoed 11 instead of 12

4. I don't think so
but I bet Al will give Howard some great advice.
Would be neat if Gore actually stumped for him
in places.

7. no
Gore played second banana long enough. He won't play it for Dean, who isn't even fit to shine Clinton's saxophone.

8. No, Gore won't be Dean's VP, even though I'd like it
However, Gore will have priceless information and experience to share with Dean regarding White House procedures and how Congress works. The reason Clinton chose Gore as VP was because of his experience in Congress, an experience that Clinton lacked. I'm sure Gore will help Dean find a fit running mate who can help Dean the way Gore helped Clinton, and no, I don't think Clark fits the bill as VP.

I have a feeling that Gore's early endorsement of Dean is not a slap at Bill Clinton, but at Al From, CEO of the DLC. Al From hates Al Gore and Howard Dean. I also think that Gore feels that Dean has proven himself as a political campaigner and organizer and that Dean has the "right stuff" to be President.
