Should we be calling the major networks and papers to ask
why they are not informing the American people that our president has been called a traitor and accused of letting 9/11 happen by a respected ex-offical of the British government? Don't the American people deserve to know what the rest of the world is reading about our president? Really, is there any excuse for such a media blackout?

2. YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES
I got on Ski Anderson's show today and asked if he knew about Meacher's article. He said yes, but he decided to talk about 9/11 instead.

INSTEAD!?!

He and I did discuss Meacher's article and I pointed out that it is getting NO coverage in the US. I compared Meacher's comments to those of the German politician who said Bush acted similar to Hitler and how everyone went nuts then and is silent now.

He said it is probably because the media is afraid of being seen as disrespectful of 9/11 victims. I said it is because Meacher hits too close to the truth.

I should have said it is disrespectful to sweep Meacher's words under the rug. - - - Oh well, 20/20 hindsight.

But yes - we should be all over the media on this. And I have been (and not just the phone call).

3. Who Owns the News?
I am sure we will get lots of similarly "fair and balanced" coverage of the 2004 election campain.
