Chicago Sun-Times
Any Chicago or Illinois DUers out there? Have you noticed the Sun-Times Iraq editorials have become less strident since Smirky has been caught in his lies. When the whole Iraq thing started the editorials were over the top frothing at the mouth at ANYONE who had even mild criticism. Seems a lot less hostile now. Any thoughts?

1. I used to read the ST every morning on the train.
Up until about a month ago.

Some days the ST prints RW screed, some days it seems like there's a lot of criticism of the BFEE. Guess it depends on the day.

But whatever the case, it's a lot more left leaning than the Trib, although I realize that's not saying much.

Most of the LTTE are anti-Bush. It's been that way for, well for awhile now.

Thanks for the reply. Can't say that I agree that the owner of the ST can't stand what's going on. The ST printed an editorial about the 87 billion and said it was worth every cent. Wonder what they would have said if it was 87 billion for education.
