(Let's get our "CNN sucks/wall-to-wall Michael Jackson" posts out of the way early...)

After months of pretrial back-and-forth, the world will be looking to California as jury selection begins Monday for pop star Michael Jackson's child molestation case.
As many as 1,000 journalists began arriving in the town of Santa Maria over the weekend, in preparation for the trial. As well, fans are congregating to proclaim the King of Pop's innocence.
Jackson's case has been making headlines since he was charged in December 2003 with child molestation, conspiracy involving child abduction, extortion and false imprisonment. He has pleaded not guilty and is free on bail after putting up a $3-million US bond.
If found guilty, the father of three could end up in state prison for up to 20 years.
To start, 12 jury members will be chosen from a group of almost 800 to decide whether Jackson, 46, is guilty for molesting a cancer victim, now 15, while he was staying at the star's Neverland Ranch in 2003.
